The US State Department issued another warning about the dangers of trips to the territory of Donbass and the Crimea.

‘TheDepartment of State advises US citizens to avoid all trips to the Crimea and the eastern parts of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions,’ said the statement.

It states that the territory of these regions ‘are still controlled by the separatists who are supported by Russia’, there occur clashes, in which over nine thousand people have been killed.

‘The cease-fire has in effect marked the line between the territories controlled by the Ukrainian government and those retained by the separatists,’ said the statement.

It is noted that there are mined areas in these regions.

The State Department document does not specify what the danger of traveling to the Crimea is. The department only reminded that earlier the Federal Aviation Administration had restricted the flights of US civil aircraft in areas under the responsibility of managers of international airports in Simferopol and Dnepr (former Dnepropetrovsk).
