The primaries in the DPR are in line with the OSCE standards.

It was stated by the Italian journalist Vittorio Randzheloni at a press conference in Donetsk.

‘We are very interested in the primaries. This is a very interesting precedent, and an important step in the construction of the Republic. I have personally managed to cover the various stages of preparation for the primaries. I can estimate what I have seen as a very transparent, open and accessible process,’ he said.

According to the journalist, due to the openness of the Donetsk People's Republic for journalists, it has already been visited by representatives of various Western media, including Italian. Randzheloni Vittorio appealed to his European colleagues with a call to come to Donetsk on October 2nd to monitor the primaries.

‘See with your own eyes the demonstration of the will of the Donetsk People's Republic citizens. As Kiev is not interested in giving a voice to the people of Donbass, the people are doing it on their own, without Kiev,’ he said.

In addition, the Italian journalist noted that the preparatory process for the primaries meets all international standards, including the OSCE ones.
