According to data of the DPR Ombudsman, Daria Morozova, six people were killed and another four injured in the DPR for the past week as a result of the armed aggression on the part of Ukraine. 

‘From 14 to 19 January 2017, on the territory of the People's Republic of Donetsk six people were killed, all of them soldiers. From 13 to 19 January 2017, four people received injuries of varying severity, as a result of incessant shelling from the Ukrainian side, including two soldiers of the Republic and two civilians, including a child,’ said the statement.

Since the beginning of 2017, 12 people have been killed in the DPR, all of the military. 17 people have received injuries during this time, including 13 soldiers of the Republic and four civilians, two of them children.

According to the DPR Defense Ministry, the Ukrainian army for the last week violated the ceasefire 4,348 times, shelling the front-line territory, including with artillery, tanks and mortars.
