The Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Yuriy Lutsenko, in an interview with the German newspaper BILD, acknowledged the fact of illegal holding of about 100 citizens of the Donetsk People's Republic, which violates not only the Minsk Agreements but also the international law, said the Human Rights Commissioner in the DPR, Daria Morozova.

‘In his confession published in the German edition BILD, Ukraine's Prosecutor General, Lutsenko acknowledged the fact that they illegally hold about 100 persons. As the Commissioner for Human Rights in the DPR, I call on the international community to look into the issue of this statement. Since it does not only contradict the implementation of the Set of Measures under the Minsk Agreements, but is also a direct proof of the violation of human rights and freedoms, according to the international law. I ask international organizations to support us and help to identify 100 of our citizens illegally detained by Ukraine, and take measures for their early release,’ said Daria Morozova.
