The DPR Special services detained participants of the group «Misanthropic Division», whose members had previously claimed responsibility for killing the Hero of the DPR, Colonel Arsen Pavlov. It was reported by the press service of the Ministry of State Security of the Republic.

‘On November 11, 2016, as a result of the DPR MGB search operations, in Donetsk were detained six active members of the Ukrainian nationalist organization «Misanthropic Division», whose leaders had previously claimed responsibility for the murder of the legendary commander of the unit «Sparta», Arsen Pavlov, better known as «Motorola»,’ said the press service.

According to the MGB, the «Misanthropic Division» activists maintained contact with the SBU staff and performed tasks of the Ukrainian special services on the territory of the Republic. Currently, operational-investigative actions are being carried out, the detainees are giving a confession about the circumstances of the crimes of terrorist and extremist nature.

‘The MGB of the Republic is carrying out activities to document the role of each of the participants in the illegal activities, including attempts to destabilize the situation in the DPR and LPR, undertaken by the Ukrainian nationalists on the instructions of the first deputy chairman of the SBU and the head of the anti-terrorist center, Colonel-General Vitaly Malikov, and the head of the SBU in the «Donetsk region», Alexander Kuts,’ noted the Ministry of the State Security.
