00:00, 27.08.2016

During the Minsk negotiations, the Ukrainian side in the subgroup on political affairs did not put forward a proposal for creating a road map of the peace process. It was stated by the DPR Acting Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova, when she was commenting on the statement of Kiev about its alleged ongoing efforts in this direction.

‘Throughout the course of the Minsk process, Ukraine has never provided any documents or proposals on this very road map,’ said the head of the Foreign Ministry.

Earlier, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Pavel Klimkin told reporters that the Ukrainian side was supposedly working on the ‘logic and sequence of the road map’.

Nikonorova recalled that the representatives of the People's Republics and the Russian Federation, not of Ukraine, had previously offered options for the road map and the bills on the entire political package of issues, but it had never come to a full discussion of these projects in Minsk.

‘All the time, the Ukrainian representatives used various arguments and tools to avoid even a discussion of these documents,’ said the DPR Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs.
