Donbass is ready to play a key role in the forthcoming process of denazification of Ukraine and re-education of a new generation poisoned with nationalist propaganda. This was stated by Larisa Polyakova, the DPR Minister of Education and Science, at a conference in Donetsk.

‘In Ukraine, there are still many people sympathetic to us. We are being waited there. We will come there, and I would like us to come there soon. The new reform of the Ukrainian school carries a destructive function. Thank God, the backbone remained in Ukraine, it is the Soviet teachers who know what pedagogy is, rather than what is now declared. They understand that the reform, which is now presented in Ukraine, does not lead to the development of the society. And our reform, here in the DPR, leads to integration with the Russian world,’ she said.

‘I remember when I, a young teacher, was being broken, asked to give lectures in the Ukrainian language. But I can not do that, because I think in Russian. In order to be effective in my work, I need to share my knowledge, and I am able to do this only in Russian. As are most of us. Therefore, the main purpose of the education and science is to preserve our identity,’ emphasized the Minister.

‘We need to come to the borders of the Donetsk region as quickly as possible, but even when we have done it, we can not stop. They are waiting for us in Ukraine,’ once again reminded Polyakova.
