The DPR specialists began the repair of the Donetsk-Novoazovsk-Sedovo highway, which was not repaired for 15 years under the Ukrainian authorities. This was reported by the press service of the DPR Ministry of Transport. 

‘The Ministry of Transport has begun preparatory work to replace the asphalt-concrete pavement on the Donetsk-Novoazovsk-Sedovo highway of state importance. At present, the contractor is organizing cold milling in the area from the turn to Novozaryevka in the direction of Novoazovsk. The works have already been completed in the area of over 16,000 square meters,’ the report says. 

According to the data of the DPR Ministry of Transport, in the second quarter of 2017, it is planned to replace the asphalt-concrete cover on a stretch of six kilometers. It is noted that road workers will proceed directly to asphalt laying under favorable weather conditions. 

‘In total, the Ministry of Transport plans to restore the cover of the Donetsk-Novoazovsk-Sedovo highway of 57.5 km length in 2017. The works should be completed in the third quarter,’ added the press service of the transport department.
