Representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission have recently refused, without any explanations, to check the storage of weapons and equipment of the People's Militia. This was stated by the spokesman for the LPR Defense Ministry, Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko, at a briefing. 

‘The heavy armament of the LPR People's Militia is not situated on the contact line, this was confirmed by the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in their reports,’ Marachko said. 

‘As you can see, they daily report that a large amount of equipment is not present in the storage areas on the Ukrainian side, on our side, the equipment is not absent, it is in the storage sites,’ he added. 

‘We also invited the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to travel to these areas where our equipment is kept, but they somehow refused,’ Marachko said. 

Earlier, Marochko reported that last week, representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) revealed the absence of 106 units of equipment and weapons of the Kiev military in the storage areas. 

In addition, the Lieutenant-Colonel emphasized that the LPR People's Militia provided security for the observers of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM), despite the fact that they did not always inform about their routes in advance.
