Strange, if not comical, decisions of Ukrainian servants of Themis have become an integral feature of post-Maidan «independence». 

Today, having satisfied a petition of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, a court in Kiev «has detained» the Head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko.

‘To grant a permission for detention in order to deliver A.Zakharchenko to participate in the examination of an application of preventive punishment in the form of detention,’ quite seriously said a decision taken by the court of Appeal of Kiev. 

Mechanisms for the practical implementation of the court's decision were not announced by the press service.

Previously, the Desnyansky District Court of Kiev took up the case file against 11 Crimean MPs, who are accused of high treason. MPs may be sentenced in absentia to 15 years in prison. 

In addition, last year, a great response was caused by an attempt of Kiev to «bring to justice» the top political authorities of the Russian Federation.
