The comment of the Head of the DPR Foreign Ministry: ‘The program of assistance to residents of the occupied territories of Donbass is of exclusively humanitarian nature’. 

Today, on February 17, the Heads of our Republics have announced the beginning of the humanitarian assistance to our compatriots. The main objective is to support and help socially vulnerable residents of Donbass. The program provides social payments and subsidies for those who are really in a difficult situation or rightfully should receive appropriate assistance, such as war veterans. 

The program includes not only financial support, but also a lot of social and cultural projects that will help connect families separated by the conflict, restore sagging cultural and social ties, and again consolidate the civil society of Donbass. 

We neither build «walls» nor create blockages, this program includes exclusively humanitarian objectives and tasks. We seek to unite, to build and develop.
