The cease-fire in Donbass, according to the agreement reached in Minsk, will enter into force on the night of December 24, and is to act indefinitely. This was stated by Denis Pushilin, the head of the DPR delegation at the Minsk negotiations and the Chairman of the People's Council.

‘From midnight on December 24, there is announced an indefinite ceasefire,’ he said.

The Parliament speaker reminded that the «regime of silence» announced for the last New Year's holidays, had also been put into effect indefinitely and maintained for some time, but with the beginning of provocations from the Ukrainian side, had been disrupted.
