The chief editor of the International News Agency "Russia Today" and the TV channel RT, Margarita Simonyan said in her microblog in Twitter that all RT accounts in Britain were blocked.

‘Our account in the UK are closed. All our accounts. 'The decision is not subject to revision’. Long live freedom of speech!’ she wrote.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova commented on the information about the closure of the television channel RT accounts in the UK.

According to her, London has left its commitments to freedom of speech in Europe. Zakharova wrote it in her Facebook.

‘Margarita Simonyan has informed that all accounts of the Russia Today TV channel in the UK are blocked, it is the final decision which is not subject to revision. It seems that, leaving the EU, London left in Europe all its obligations on freedom of speech. As they say, to a new life without bad habits,’ wrote Zakharova.
