In the LPR, there was detained a killer of the Chief of the People's Militia of the Lugansk People's Republic, Colonel Oleg Anaschenko. 

It is reported by the Rosbalt citing a source in the LPR Ministry of State Security. This information is also confirmed by participants of the special operation, the LPR Interior Ministry employees. 

As it became known, late on February 5, as a result of an interception plan, the police detained a major of the AFU. Currently, investigations are being conducted to apprehend accomplices of the detained. 

As reported, the Ukrainian officer admitted organizing and executing the murder. 

Anaschenko was killed in Lugansk on February 4, as a result of his car explosion. The People's Militia press office immediately put forward a theory that the attack had been carried out by the Ukrainian secret services in order to destabilize the situation in the LPR.
