US and Canadian companies, previously supplying Ukraine with components for the production of weapons, no longer want to cooperate with Kiev. 

It was said by the director of information and consulting company Defense Express, Sergey Zgurets, at a press conference in Kiev. 

He shared the details of the conversation with the director of a company developsing advanced homing heads for missiles.

‘Currently, British and American companies have begun to create obstacles. Our American partners have warned us that they will not deliver the critical packaging to Ukraine since 2017. It was quite a stable Ukrainian partner,’ said Zgurets. 

According to him, problems have also arisen in a company manufacturing simulators for combat fighters and helicopters. Previously, for manufacturing these products, software was delivered from Canada, but at the end of last year, the Canadian affiliate sent a letter of refusal to continue the cooperation. 

‘They said that there was a high risk of this software getting to the Crimea, followed by their refusal,’ complained the expert.
