The Crimea intends to support the formation of a strong Russian party in Ukraine, which will advocate for the integration of the former Soviet republic with Russia. It was announced by Andrey Kozenko, the vice-speaker of the Crimean State Council.

‘Now our task is to form in Ukraine a powerful rRussian-cultural and Russian-speaking movement to defend our ideas. Ukraine is an area of our geopolitical interests. Now the battle for Ukraine is going on, and our task is to fight for power in Ukraine. If there will be parties advocating for the integration with Russia, I am sure that most people will support them,’ said the parliamentarian.
