Basurin: AFU amassing MLRS "Grad" near Krasnoarmeysk

The Ukrainian military have strengthened their positions near the front line with ten MLRS «Grad» and mortars. It was reported by Vice-Commander of the DPR Defense Ministry operative command Donetsk, Colonel Eduard Basurin, at a briefing.

'In the Dimitrov area (near Krasnoarmeysk occupied by the AFU, 35 kilometers away from the contact line),there was detected the arrival of ten MLRS «Grad», and in the Andreevka area ( 17 km away from the contact line, in the Mariupol direction ), the arrival of one MLRS «Grad»,' - said Vice-Commander.

In addition, according to him, near the village Stepnoye (3 km from away from the contact line, near Donetsk), there were detected four 120mm mortars, and another 10 in the area of the locality of Novotroitskoye ( near Donetsk, 6 km from away from the contact line ).

The DPR intelligence regularly records the delivery by Kiev of the military equipment into the conflict zone. According to the Complex of measures for the implementation of the Minsk Agreements, which was signed by the Contact Group on February 12, 2015, the artillery of over 100mm caliber shoud be withdrawn from the contact line at the distance of 50 km, MLRS at 70 km, MLRS «Tornado», «Uragan», «Smerch», also missiles "Tochka" at 140 km. In accordance with the September supplement, the sides were to have withdrawn artillery of up to 100mm caliber, as well as tanks and mortars.
