Two people died as a result of a powerful explosion that rocked near the «Motel» at about 22:30 yesterday. There are also reported 13 wounded, among them two children. It should be noted that the AFU have been shelling residential areas of Donetsk for a week, but it was this explosion that was heard throughout the city. 

The blast was so powerful that it simply uprooted nearby trees, and shook houses in the surrounding areas. The store that had been standing on the scene, turned into a pile of rubbish, as well as on civilian cars that had come under fire. The body of a truck driver still has not been found.

According to Eduard Basurin, the DPR Defense Ministry representative, a single volley of  220mm MLRS «Uragan» was most likely to have been launched.
