Following the Sberbank and the Gazprombank, the readiness to receive customers with passports of the DPR and LPR was announced by the Unicredit bank. 

Both state and financial, as well as other organizations began to be implement the decision of the Russian President Vladimir Putin to recognize the passports of the DPR and LPR. In particular, on March 7, the Sberbank informed of the beginning of the service of the residents of Donbass, which caused an unhealthy excitement in Ukraine. 

The Minister of Internal Affairs of the «Independent», Arsen Avakov immediately proceeded to open blackmail. 

‘The Sberbank of Russia must stop its work in Ukraine! Let them enjoy the «financial paradise» according to the laws of the self-proclaimed DPR and LPR,’ the minister addressed to the National Bank of Ukraine on his personal Facebook page.

In addition, the readiness to conduct certain financial transactions with residents of Donbass was reported by both the Gazprombank and the Rosselkhoz, as well as by the European Unicredit bank. 

‘The bank apply uniform requirements for identification to all clients, including standard checks prior to acceptance for servicing. The rules for identification and verification also apply to identity documents. If an identity document is recognized on the territory of the Russian Federation and issued in compliance with the requirements of the law, such a document is accepted,’ explained the UniCredit press service.
