The LPR residents did not succumb to a provocation of Kiev, trying to unilaterally «open» a checkpoint on the partially mined road across the contact line in the area of Pervomaysk - Zolotoye.

‘We state that Ukraine continues to use various options for blackmail and provocations in regard of opening the crossing point «Zolotoye». We also say that Ukraine announces it in the media unilaterally, without adhering to the decisions of the Contact Group in Minsk,’ said the Head of the LPR People's Militia, Colonel Oleg Anaschenko.

‘It also indicates the inability of Ukraine to negotiate at the international level. It also demonstrates the fact that Ukraine is not fulfilling, in any possible way, all of the requirements that were announced in Minsk,’ said the colonel.
