What whipping hysteria may come …

Political Opinion - 14.10.16 00:59

Politicians in the US presidential race are chirping about the Russian threat. Trying to intimidate you, they seek to gain, in such a way, some extra points. It is known that the man can be most strongly affected with pleasure or fear. The politicians are no longer able to bring American voters pleasure, so they are trying to frighten you.

They used to frighten you with Arab terrorists, but the bearded fundamentalists have become too boring and everyone is already fed up with them. In addition, it is difficult to explain why the country needs trillions on new weapons to fight medieval Bedouins.

In recent years, the generals of the Pentagon and the owners of the military-industrial complex companies have «sawed» between them a few trillion dollars to create the ‘weapon of the future’:

  • F-35 airplane that cannot fly;
  • wooden super-ship with a rail gun that occasionally launches useless blanks with low accuracy;
  • laser gun on the passenger Boeing, which can theoretically shoot down a cruise missile (but only if the aircraft is flying in parallel with a missile and within a hundred meters of it);
  • program predicting the enemy’s actions, which is wrong in 70% of cases;
  • etc.

So, this time they decided to update the repertoire, frightening you with a new, or rather, the old but half-forgotten enemy, the ‘terrible Russians’. Landing bears, Kalashnikovs, vodka, earflaps and the airship «Kirov», the complete set is here.

You remember those wonderful transformations, don’t you? The ‘Freedom Fighter’, Osama bin Laden, a personal friend and a business partner of George W. Bush, whom the United States had for many years supported with money, weapons and military advisors, and who then suddenly became a terrorist and an enemy of democracy. And now, his heirs, the same bearded guys cutting heads off, just as suddenly have again become ‘liberal’ and ‘freedom fighters’ in Syria (they might be fighting for the freedom to cut the head off).

And now the ‘evil Russian terrorists’ are bombing the good terrorists moderate terrorists the opposition in Syria. When the US are bombing schools and kindergartens, this is called a collateral damage. When the Russian are bombing, with precision weapons, the ISIS positions, this is ‘indiscriminate bombing’.

Politicians need fear to make you controlled.

The military need hysteria to justify huge military budgets; in the United States it is hundreds of billions of dollars that could have been used to create new jobs, fight against poverty or repair the aging infrastructure (roads, dams, bridges, which are rather massively in poor condition in the United States). The money could have been used to prevent municipal bankruptcies which amount to a few hundred in the country (it's a shame, but Puerto Rico is actually bankrupt, how then can you say that the United States is a prosperous country?).

Military industrialists need budgets to continue producing non-flying planes and non-firing guns.

They all need to whip up the war hysteria. So, General Mike Milley, the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) makes a speech and yells, ‘We will beat Russia, China, Iran and North Korea’.

But if you think about it… China is the first economy in the world, and its population is five times the US population. In addition, China has nuclear weapons.

Once the United States already waged a war against small and poor Vietnam. How many American soldiers died there? 58,220 men. Try to imagine the country, with a half of territory covered with approximately the same jungle and the other half being the Himalayas, the world's largest mountain range, and whose population is five times as that of the United States. How many Americans will die?

In addition, after an attack on China, Americans will no longer see any of Nike shoes, or household appliances, or iPhones, or many other thing. Oh yes, they all are made in China.

Perhaps, the US want a war with Iran? Could you please remind me what the outcome of the «Millennium Challenge 2003» exercises, which simulated an American attack on Iran, was? As far as I remember, the Fifth Fleet ceased to exist in less than a day.

Iran is a large country, almost entirely mountainous, where the entire male population is liable for the military service and periodically runs training courses (like in Switzerland).

However, let us return again to the Russian. It is also a large country with a vast territory, a harsh climate and a large population that has never been fully conquered by anyone.

Moreover, over the past few centuries, Russia destroyed several empires which dominated the world but were stupid enough stupidity to attack it: Rzeczpospolita, Sweden, the Ottoman Empire, Napoleonic France, Austria-Hungary and the Third Reich. Each time, the invaders thought, ‘This time we will definitely do it’. Who, in their right mind, would try again, asking for the repetition of history?

And finally, North Korea. It is, of course, small and quite poor. But they also have nuclear weapons and means of delivery them. AA single missile reaching the west coast would do to get California drowned. Personally, I like California. It is, of course, full of freaks, but this’s no reason to sacrifice it.

As you can see, in all cases offered by the general Miley, the United States would not be able to avoid huge losses. And I have not even mentioned the mutual assured destruction (M.A.D.), the danger of which Kennedy and Reagan understood, but McCain or Clinton-type politicians do not.

Their thirst for money overshadows all the arguments of reason. In addition, Joint Chief of Staff, General Mike Milley will not go into melee himself; by protocol, he will fly over the United States in the General Staff stealth-plane «Mirror» while the others are dying.

The others will die, the very voters and taxpayers who elect such politicians and they pay for such a behavior of the establishment with their taxes.

Therefore, the staff analysts David Barno and Norna Bensahel write in the report "The Future of the Army» published in the magazine "The Atlantic Council», ‘... the army must prepare for the unlikely but possible scenario that we call «the Next Big War» with the participation of powerful opponents, with a high level of destruction and casualties among US troops which can amount the hundreds of thousands’.

Then they add, ‘Our army has a low resistance to defeat and heavy losses, but it needs preparing’.

I want to ask you, the Americans, are you ready to defeat and heavy losses? To hundreds of thousands and, possibly, millions of KIA (Killed In Action)? Mr. Kerry, maybe it's time to lead anti-war rallies - in advance, before the madness has begun? Or maybe, you, American citizens and taxpayers, want to live in underground bunkers instead of cozy cottages or teach your children not to play baseball and basketball but cook fried mutant cockroaches and purify water from radiation in the event of a nuclear war? That’s, if you're lucky, are not killed by a direct hit, have a shelter nearby (do you have it?) and do not die from radiation sickness in the first days after the war begins.

And the most important thing that I want to ask you is what all of this for. What sacrificing millions of American lives and risking nuclear annihilation for?

It is not out of patriotism. It is not for the Stars & Stripes. It is not for the ‘way of life’. It is for the «Lockheed Martin» Board to receive a couple of hundreds of billions of dollars from the state budget to build its non-flying aircraft, and for General Mike Milley, the Joint Chief of Staff, to receive from them a few million payments to his pension fund for lobbying the interests of military corporations.

The scheme is very simple: you pay taxes that go into the purchase of weapons with which you will be sent to die in order to increase corporate profits.

You will be sent for slaughter for your money.

Die for Wall Street and Hitlery Clinton!
