Two interesting prediction about future of Ukraine

The president of "Ukrainian Grain Association" Vladimir Klimenko shared a wonderful outlook for Ukraine. During the 2nd US-Ukrainian Agrarian Congress, he said that Ukraine would be able to produce about 100 million tons of grain in 2050.

According to him, the potential of major crops productivity is implemented by only 50% in Ukraine because the country has fertile black soil. However, by 2050, farmers would be able to produce 99.1 million tons of grain, including 41.4 million tonnes of wheat, 43.3 million tons of corn and 14.4 million tonnes of barley.

Another forecast is given by Maxim Goldarb, the director of the public organisation "Public Audit". According to him, the population of Ukraine is reducing by 500-700 people per day. That means a loss of at least 25 million people, or 50% of the population, within 50 years, since the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991.

The policy of the current Kiev authorities justifies Goldarb's forecast. On the other hand, no one will be able to refute the forecast of Klimenko. Witnesses are unlikely to remember his words in 2050. Therefore, Mr. Klimenko was clearly too shy and could have predicted even 200 million tons of grain. Grinding words with your tongue does not make you a mill.
